Expert Days 2024: A Deep Dive into Smart Cabinet Building Solutions

Recently, the Smart Cabinet Building partners got together for the Expert Days 2024, where we explored solutions for cabinet building—from design to manufacturing. We all made our way to Weidmüller’s headquarters in Detmold, Germany (big shout out to Weidmüller for being amazing hosts!). The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect, share ideas, and demonstrate innovative technologies that simplify and automate every step of the process.

End-to-End Solutions for Cabinet Building

All partners of the initiative were present, showcasing their expertise and contributing to insightful discussions. In small group demos, participants were able to engage directly with experts, providing a more hands-on experience. This format allowed attendees to dive deeper into each solution, explore unique features, and get tailored answers to their questions.

The focus of Expert Days was on presenting comprehensive solutions for cabinet building, addressing challenges at every stage of the process. From initial design through manufacturing, attendees saw firsthand how automation can simplify workflows, reduce errors, and increase overall efficiency.

An Evening of Tradition and Innovation

The day concluded with a fun evening event: a tour of the Strate Brewery in Detmold. This brewery, led by female brewmasters with a long family tradition, provided the perfect backdrop for informal networking and discussions. Attendees enjoyed learning about the brewing process and the rich history behind the family-run business, all while sampling some of the brewery’s finest beers.

The Expert Days were not just about technology but also about fostering a sense of community and collaboration. We are excited to see how the innovations shared at this event will shape the future of cabinet building.
