After long planning, preparation, and anticipation, the Zuken Innovation World finally returned as a live event. The first stop on our tour was in Germany, at the Lufthansa Seeheim Conference Hotel. The event focused on “Innovation and Sustainability in Product Development” and welcomed Zuken’s customers, partners, and friends.
During the two-day conference in late April, attendees gained insights into the latest challenges, solutions, and innovations presented by Zuken’s experts. This marked the beginning of the ZIW conference series, which included events in Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, and the UK. The excitement was palpable, as it was the first live event for ZIW after a three-year forced break.
Practical Learning: Sharing Best-Practice Examples
The first day of the conference featured engaging presentations on industrial topics like Digital Twins, Green Engineering, and Sustainability. Practical learning was emphasized, with customers sharing best practices from their ongoing projects, demonstrating how they shape the future of product development using Zuken’s solutions. These discussions provided valuable insights and inspiration for participants’ own work.
Apart from the keynotes and networking opportunities, there was also an exhibition featuring 16 exhibitors showcasing innovative solutions related to wiring and PCB design, presenting the latest industry developments.
The event’s program included an overview of the new CR-8000 version in the PCB Design segment, highlighting important enhancements and upgrades. Attendees also had the chance to improve their design skills by learning best practices and analysis techniques tailored to advanced technologies.
Additionally, the conference shed light on the increasing importance of automation in the control cabinet industry, with Zuken and its partners actively supporting this transformation. They presented new additions and improvements to their tool family to support this trend.
Harnessing the Power of Digital Twins for Service and Maintenance
The presentation on the use of digital twins for service and maintenance was a highlight. A new technology within the E3.series product family allowed the creation of custom circuit diagrams for different users and specific use cases, providing clear and real-time visualization of complex connections. Interactive monitoring of the digital twin for service and maintenance facilitated efficient supervision and interaction.
Overall, the ZIW Germany was a successful and inspiring experience, bringing together industry professionals to share knowledge, build connections, and foster innovation in product development and sustainability.
We hope to see all of you again next year!
