With its support of 3D, CR-8000 Design Force offers the possibility of validating PCB designs against the mechanical envelope.
In addition to the established Intermediate Data Format IDF, further formats such as IDX (Incremental Design Exchange), an XML-based messaging format based on the ProSTEP format, or the ISO standard graphics format JT are now available for exchange of 3D data.
In our presentation you will learn how to use these formats in Design Force or, alternatively, how to import native 3D data from various MCAD systems.
