The days of non-intelligent drawing packages are over. We need better tools that can offer design reuse, bring about standardization, and can still deliver flexibility - like E3.series. We also need partners like Zuken who are willing to listen, learn, communicate and be proactive in regards to meeting our needs.

Through using E3.series we have realised immense operational efficiencies inhouse and saved costs, plus we have also helped our customers be more efficient and competitive in their markets.

With E3.series it is now possible to filter an individual schematic for any customer specific machine configurations, resulting in a reduction from 4-8 hours to around 5-30 minutes.

From the outside, the Coradia Continental is virtually no different from any other traction vehicle. But a lot of changes have taken place behind the scenes, to the design in particular. Using a configurator with E3.series means we can do our work not just much faster but with fewer mistakes too. Preparations are also underway for us to start using the E3.series various integration options.
