Maybe you remember that we are a sponsor of the Formula Student team at Esslingen University?
– If you don’t you can find out more in my previous post here.
Recently I went along to their end of season ‘Meet and Greet’ event – and it was great fun. It wasn’t just me though; the students invited all their sponsors to their workshop, where they shared pictures and stories of their successful race events.
World Rankings
With their racecar, the Stalardo 10, the team reached an impressive position 16 (out of 477) in the world championship Formula Student division, just ahead of Graz Technical University, and behind the University of Texas at Arlington. 2011 Race Season Prep
The 2010 race season is over and now it’s time to prepare for the next.
We’ve already welcomed the new team members to training sessions to introduce them to E³.cable software currently in use, and in 2011 the team are expanding their use of E³.series to include our E³.Harness Bridgeto interface with 3D Cable Routing in Catia.
I wish I could tell you about my trip to another ‘grown-up’ race car manufacturer, but they might need to hunt me down if I told you about that – yes I’m joking, but I think you understand what I mean. Anyway I can’t show you a picture of me in that car, but I can publish the one of me in the Stalardo 10!
I will keep my fingers crossed for all the teams “powered by E³.series” in Formula Student.
