Since joining in 2019, Justin has become an invaluable member of our team, seamlessly integrating his technical skills with a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. Whether he’s scaling a rugged mountain or meticulously restoring his 18th-century colonial farmhouse, Justin brings the same level of enthusiasm and precision to his hobbies as he does to his professional life.

Charting the Course from Aerospace to Applications

Justin’s professional journey began at Sikorsky Aircraft as an electrical manufacturing engineer, where he supported final assembly and flight operations. His keen eye for identifying repetitive tasks and inefficiencies led him to develop his first software tools, including issue dashboards and automated work instructions for repairs. This foundation in manufacturing seamlessly transitioned into a role in electrical design, where Justin took ownership of design check applications and other automation tools. His experience interfacing with various groups to streamline processes prepared him perfectly for his future role at Zuken.

Tailoring Technology to Transform Customer Experiences

What Justin enjoys most about his job is the opportunity to visit customers, learn about their processes, and help them optimize their use of E3.series and other Zuken products. His proactive approach in creating customized solutions ensures that each customer achieves maximum benefits from our software. Each customer presents unique challenges and opportunities, ensuring that Justin’s work remains engaging and rewarding, and his hands-on approach not only meets but exceeds our customers’ expectations.

A Collaborative Force in Professional Services

As a member of the Professional Services Team, Justin works closely with several enterprise customers, identifying opportunities and translating them into successful projects. His projects range from small-scale independent tasks to large, collaborative initiatives with our DS and CR-8000 teams. This diversity in project scale and team dynamics allows Justin to leverage his broad skill set, enriching our team’s collaborative expertise and advancing Zuken’s mission.

A Day with Diversity: Dynamic Team Interactions

Like most Applications Engineers, Justin’s daily routine keeps him on his toes. He moves seamlessly from strategic planning sessions to hands-on problem-solving, always ready to tackle the next challenge. He thrives in an environment where each project brings new trials and learning opportunities. The vast amount of knowledge and experience Justin has gained working with Zuken’s diverse teams contributes to and benefits him greatly. Not only is it rewarding to learn from a wide range of perspectives, but Justin’s exposure to expert insights has also enhanced Zuken’s innovative solutions while expanding his professional growth.

Not All Heroes Wear Capes—Some Prefer Hiking Boots

When the laptops close and the schematics are rolled away, Justin enjoys being in the great outdoors, recharging in nature’s lap. Between weekend ski trips and picturesque mountain treks, it’s a wonder he finds his way back to the office. Back home in Connecticut, Justin is dedicated to renovating his 1738 colonial farmhouse and tending to its accompanying apple orchard, blending his passion for history, nature, and hands-on creativity.
